Palladyne AI and IAI Announce Landmark Loitering Munition Partnership

Atlantic Strategies Group is proud to congratulate our client, Palladyne AI, on a landmark strategic partnership with IAI – Israel Aerospace Industries that marks a significant step forward in U.S. defense capabilities.

Under the agreement, Palladyne AI will manufacture, integrate, and market IAI’s HARPY, HAROP, and Mini HARPY loitering munition systems for the U.S. Department of War, securing exclusive U.S. production and marketing rights in the process. These systems are purpose-built to suppress and destroy enemy air defenses and deliver long-range strike capabilities across both operational and tactical environments.

Why This Partnership Matters

Loitering munitions have rapidly emerged as a defining capability on the modern battlefield, offering precision, persistence, and flexibility that traditional strike systems cannot match. As the Department of War continues expanding its investments in this space, Palladyne AI is uniquely positioned to deliver domestically manufactured solutions that meet U.S. operational requirements.

Under the partnership, Palladyne AI will adapt IAI’s proven systems to U.S. specifications and lead domestic manufacturing of key components and subsystems, while IAI provides engineering support and critical subsystems. The result is a powerful combination of IAI’s battle-tested technology and Palladyne AI’s AI-driven defense innovation.
